Austria Very Highly Qualified Workers Visa (Red-White-Red Card):

The Very Highly Qualified Workers Visa, also known as the Red-White-Red Card, is designed to attract highly skilled workers to Austria. It is a points-based system that evaluates candidates based on their qualifications, work experience, language skills, and other factors.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Qualifications: Hold a university degree or a comparable qualification.
  • Work Experience: At least three years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Job Offer: Employment offer from an Austrian employer that matches your qualifications.
  • Labour Market Test: The employer must demonstrate that the position cannot be filled by an Austrian or EU citizen.
  • Salary: Minimum annual gross salary of €48,500.

Stay Duration:
  • Initially valid for 24 months.
  • Can be extended if eligibility criteria continue to be met.
  • After 24 months, eligible to apply for a settlement permit (permanent residency) if continuously employed for at least 21 months.
Austria Job Seeker Visa:

The Job Seeker Visa allows individuals to enter Austria for up to six months to search for employment. It is aimed at highly qualified individuals who have not yet secured a job offer.

Eligibility Criteria:
  • Qualifications: University degree or comparable qualification.
  • Work Experience: At least five years of professional experience in the relevant field.
  • Sufficient Funds: Proof of sufficient funds to support oneself during the stay in Austria.
  • Health Insurance: Must have health insurance coverage.
  • No Criminal Record: Must not have a criminal record.

Stay Duration:
  • Valid for six months.
